Sr. Buyer/Buyer with solid pipeline construction and operations procurement experience to work on domestic projects.

Major Responsibilities Include:
?Procurement and contracting support for a major domestic pipeline construction project?example
?buying all construction materials and supporting services,
?maintaining procurement budget numbers as they fit into overall construction budget,
?working with EPC representatives to ensure quality of products and vendors
?managing the logistics and delivery of critical commodities to construction site
?developing, negotiating and executing contracts for goods and services supporting construction and operations

?Facilitation of the entire procurement process including conducting spend analysis, strategy development, drafting technical specifications, preparing bid documents, technical and commercial evaluation, negotiation of contracts, and compliance of contracts.
?Negotiating and managing service contracts for engineering and construction for major project
?Facilitating contractor performance reviews, using a scorecard, periodically over the life of the contract.


Qualifications:
?Contracts experience focused on goods and for pipeline operations and construction
?Procurement experience for major projects (specific pipeline experience preferred)
?Undergraduate degree in Business, Procurement, or Engineering
?Self-initiative and strong sense of urgency.
?Strong interpersonal skills both written and verbal

Proven ability to work in team environment.
