IMS is currently seeking a Production Manager for our growing Atlanta operation. This position will be a key part of a dedicated, retail-focused team in the development and execution of impactful, sales-driving point-of-sale materials for our industry-leading retail clients.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

Sales
?Be a positive, solution-oriented part of the IMS project management team.
?Demonstrate the value of the IMS production management model to client contacts.
?Present production ideas and recommendations that drive client buy-in/ approval of IMS solutions.

Estimating
?Interface with Account Executive and Clients to develop accurate and complete job specifications.
?Provide production recommendations that improve quality, reduce costs and add value.
?Review each job and select the appropriate vendor(s) to bid the work.

Production Management
?Provide material and/or design solutions that meet budget demands or graphic criteria. This includes engineering custom items, material exploration, film and print techniques and spec development.
?Set and execute against production timelines and schedules to meet delivery requirements.
?Determine the most efficient and cost-effective production process for each project.
?Develop prototypes or constructions for client review, make design/sizes recommendations to improve impact of POS in store.
?Work with AE to obtain complete artwork turnover?review all artwork for compliance to spec.
?Manage individual job budgets approved by the client.
?Monitor final pack-outs to ensure complete and correct kits.
?Track delivery of shipments from suppliers.
?Manage vendor pool for cost, quality and schedule adherence.

Administration
?Update job spec?s, production schedules, estimates, delivery dates and label instructions.
?Attend weekly status meetings, proactively managing expectations regarding all production activity.
?Approve purchase order entry, invoices and final job billings and close.


Work experience and attributes needed:
?***4-5 years of Print Production/Print Procurement Experience*** ? Associates Degree (or higher) is preferred
?Ability to handle a variety of tasks independently & efficiently
?Poised, calm working style
?Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
