Procurement Representative

Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, a major international law firm with over 800 attorneys and 13 offices worldwide, seeks a National Procurement Representative for its headquarters in downtown Los Angeles.  This position is responsible for procurement functions for all domestic offices for IS supplies, licenses, maintenance contracts and assets as well as other office equipment.  Maintains records and assists in the management and tracking of assets, licenses and contracts.

 

Responsibilities to include:Perform tasks in all aspects of the procurement cycle, including obtaining quotes, acquiring approvals and placing orders.Enter and maintain assets, licenses and contracts in asset management system(s).Process assets and documentation for the end of lease term requirements.Research and resolve invoice issues and coordinate for warranty repair and replacement as needed.Maintain contracts, files and other documentation as required.Assist in research and solving problem for both procurement and asset management issues.Other assignments and projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Skills:Knowledge of procurement, leasing and asset management.Ability to create and analyze financial information.Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Strong verbal and written communications skills.Ability to establish working relationships with all levels of staff, management and vendors.Highly motivated with a desire for continuous improvements.

 

Experience & Education:Business degree preferred.Minimum of 2 years purchasing and/or asset management experience.Fortune 500 Company experience desirable.
