The ANA Procurement Department - Negotiating Team, located in Dallas, Texas, is looking for a Procurement Specialist IV.

We are looking for personnel who are broadly experienced in negotiating supplier contracts for products and services for a fast-paced, multi-unit company. A successful Negotiating Team member is capable of handling multiple projects at the same time and welcomes the challenge of meeting personal and team goals in a win-win environment. Hospitality industry, restaurant and catering, or retail background in a multi-site chain would provide good experience.

Our ideal candidate will be a goal-oriented professional with a strong commercial focus who can quickly size opportunities and bring a deal to closure. This self-starter will be motivated by the opportunity to create new savings and returns to his/her customers while protecting the company?s business needs with appropriate contractual terms. A ?can-do? attitude, coupled with strong team orientation and strategic thinking, will provide the keys to this individual?s success as a member of the ANA Negotiating Team.REQUIREMENTSREQUIREMENTS
? Direct experience within the Hospitality (Hotel Operations and/or Food & Beverage experience strongly desired)
? Very detail-oriented with good analytical skills
? Able to build and maintain complex spreadsheets for monthly, quarterly and annual reports
? Able to manage complex supplier negotiations and contracts with minimal supervision and to direct or supervise others in less complex negotiations
? PC proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook; Access experience a plus
? Able to cooperate in a team atmosphere with Operations, other Corporate, and Legal Departments
? Minimum 8 years in a purchasing or contracts function with increasing levels of responsibilities or 5-7 years Hospitality-related operations background with purchasing responsibility
? A college degree preferred, but degree may be substituted with appropriate experience
? PC proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook; Access proficiency highly desired
? Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
? A ?can-do?, service-oriented attitude
? CPM preferred, but not required
? Ability to speak/read/write in French and/or Spanish a plus
