Join the industry?s leader!  SYSCO Food Services of South Florida, a division of Fortune 100 SYSCO Corporation, based in South Florida is seeking an experienced Free Trade Zone Specialist to source competitive products that can be imported into a duty free environment and determine the practicalities of U.S. Seaport Distribution.

 

Qualities:

?  Positive attitude

?  Self starter, independent, road warrior (must have reliable automobile)

?  Food Service and /or Outside Sales Experience a plus

?  Highly organized with proficient time management skills

?  Understanding of inventory management of a bonded warehouse

?  Understanding of procedures needed to meet the requirements of inbound and outbound flow of merchandise through U.S. Customs

?  Understanding of documentations required for free trade zone transactions

 

The Procurement Specialist will adopt in the program suppliers that have reputations of high quality and a track record of consistent supply and do conflict with current local Miami programs.  Candidate will also establish and maintain the check and balance through electronic reporting for 100% inventory accountability required by U.S. Customs and the U.S Department of Commerce;while managing inventory of assigned suppliers which includes identifying slow moving, excess, and obsolete items.
