Project Manager - Training & Compliance

MResult is looking for a Project Manager - Training & Compliance  for one of its clients in Thousand Oaks CA.

 

Basic Qualification:


Essential Requirements:
' 5-8 years project management experience using standard project management discipline such as timeline generation, action tracking, communication plans, and meeting facilitation
' B.A. / B.S. or the equivalent combination of education and experience
' Knowledge of procurement and sourcing concepts
' Technical writing to include policies and procedures
' Experience in communicating and transferring knowledge good public speaking, presentation skills, facilitation skills, or training
' Ability to use standard analytical software such as excel to gather and analyze data. ' Ability to communicate across a wide range of staff levels including senior staff and executives.

Desired Requirements

 
' Experience in pharmaceuticals/biotech or other relevant industries,
' Sourcing and procurement related compliance requirements including SOX regulations
' C.P.M. or A.P.P. certification
' CPM


Job Description:

Responsibilities include:
' Initiating, leading, and communicating process improvement projects to support the Sourcing and Procurement staff
' Developing sourcing and procurement policies and procedures and delivering training or communication so that the SS&P staff understand and adhere to procedures
' Supporting global sourcing and procurement standardization efforts around process and procedures
' Communicating the SS&P mission and value proposition to SS&P business partners


The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent organizational, project management, communication (written and verbal), computer literacy, customer focus, good analytical skills, and leadership. In addition, candidates must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and have knowledge of sourcing and procurement concepts.
