We are currently looking for a Material Planner to join our team.  The Material Planner is accountable for ensuring components are ordered, produced and delivered within the appropriate timeframe and quantity requirements to support production for a key Prosero customer. This technology customer designs and delivers hardware for communication networks. As such, the components this individual will be responsible for may include, but are not limited to, cables, computer equipment, power and metal (batteries, amplifiers and cabinets), filters, circuit packs and radios. This individual will work on site at the Columbus, OH customer manufacturing location.

Responsibilities:

?  Purchase material to support production builds

?  Manage customer inventory levels

?  Schedule receipts to reflect demand ? Push/Pull based on forecast

?  Expedite critical shipments based on shop need

?  Track and research shipments

?  Correct price and quantity discrepancies in invoicing

?  Maintain customer purchase orders and communicate any changes to suppliers

?  Work with dock personnel to clear any suspended material

?  Work with logistics provider for premium shipments

?  Work with customer partners to sell excess material

?  Manage the repair and return process for returned materials

?  Root cause analysis and optimization

?  Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience

?  General understanding of Material Requisition Planning (MRP)

 

Education & Experience:

?  Experience effectively handling supplier and internal issues

?  Bachelor?s degree and supply chain experience

?  Material Requisition Planning technology experience a plus
