Purchasing Administrator for a rapidly-growing public company

MTM Technologies, Inc. is a $350 million rapidly-growing publicly traded company (NASDAQ:  MTMC) that provides IT networking and data center services, including access infrastructure, IP telephony, enterprise storage, security and network and systems infrastructure.  MTM is partnered with industry-leading technology providers such as Cisco, Citrix, Microsoft, HP, EMC and Avaya.  He company currently operates out of 27 locations in 18 states with over 700 employees.

 

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Purchasing Administrator is to perform required administrative and coordination tasks generated within the course of daily purchasing operations and to assist with back order management.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

?  Confirm receipt of all purchase orders with vendors.

?  Contact vendors for shipping information on purchase orders.

?  Follow-up on any purchase order issues, such as mis-shipments, late shipments or backorders.

?  Confirm pricing and availability of products.

?  Process purchase orders as required.

?  Research and resole invoice/shipping discrepancies.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

?  A minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in a purchasing administrative role.

?  Good knowledge of MS Office, and strong Excel spreadsheet abilities.

?  Excellent organizational and communication skills a must.

?  A self-starter who will be able to multi-task projects and work efficiently with all levels of management.
