Essential Duties:

 Continually improve department procedures and execution.Staff, train, evaluate and develop team members.Direct and oversee activities of purchasing, distribution, and order entry through employees.  Lead strategic change and improvements through development and adherence to best practices.Track, rank, and publish key business indicators.Establish and ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements.Facilitate customer concern and issue resolution.Coordinate and oversee the activities of the warehouse.Inventory management and control.

 

Requirements: A minimum of five to seven years strategic purchasing / distribution experience BS or BA Degree Proven ability to implement and lead by best practicesAbility to deal effectively with all levels of internal/external organizationStrong computer skills to include knowledge / experience in web based order entry
