Purchasing Manager (Beverage Industry)

-   Manage purchasing function, including supply chain, vendor strategy and cost savings initiatives.

- Manage overall supply chain purchasing of raw ingredients for productions.

- Conduct purchasing/material/vendor analysis and make recommendations for vendor strategy and cost savings initiatives.

- Develop and manage supply agreements and vendor contracts.

 

REQUIREMENTS:



 

- BS Degree in Business.

- 5-7 years experience in purchasing function in the food, beverage or ingredient industry.

- Beverage experience a plus.

- 10% travel.

- Proven track record in a purchasing function, including supply chain experience and cost savings initiatives.

- Ability to self initiate and manage multiple projects to meet business objectives.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and develop strategies for vendors and purchasing function.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (verbal and written).

- Demonstrated ability in maintaining good working relationships with internal and external business partners.
