Purchasing Manager - Hi Volume Parts Business

Parts Central is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join or amazing team at our facility in Fort Payne, Alabama. Parts Central is an independent business that sells Heil Certified OEM refuse parts to the national network of Heil distributors and directly to operators of Heil equipment where distributors are not present.  Consolidations within the company have recently added an aftermarket line of select Heil parts as well as competitive aftermarket parts to be sold by the Parts Central business. 

 

The role of the Purchasing Manager is to support the parts business by ensuring parts availability to seamlessly meet customer demands, establish vendor partnerships to provide stability in the supply base while growing Parts Central?s ROI, and to work with all areas of the operation to continually improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. EDUCATION: A bachelor?s degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 5+ years in a high-volume, fast-paced purchasing role.

DESIRED SOFTWARE SKILLS: Microsoft Office, JDEdwards
