Purchasing Planner

Pacific Coast Feather Cushion is a leading supplier of feather and down cushions to the furniture industry. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking motivated career oriented professionals to join our Purchasing Team.

Responsibilities include:Communicating with our sales force to determine the purchasing requirementIdentify areas for improvementPurchasing raw materials and finished goods from domestic and international suppliersTrend analysis Quality Control review of all inbound raw materialsMonitoring inventory levels to insure that reorder points are satisfying current demand

Qualifications:
Successful candidates will have an associate?s degree or equivalent work experience (BS / BA in Business, Operations, Logistics preferred)

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The ability to prioritize, multi task, and problem solve.

Have a sense of urgency in managing time and accomplishing tasks.

Although you are a part of a team - you must have the ability to work independently.

Requirements:


Desire to learn new skill sets and grow with the Company
Bilingual Spanish/English a plus
TEAM Player
Computer Experience must be fluent in MS Excel and MS Office.

SAP experience preferred

A minimum of 2-4 years as a buyer or equivalent position
