Purchasing Specialist-Dynamic Healthcare Industry

Our client, a fast-growing leader in the pharmaceutical industry based in Lake Forest,IL has an immediate need for an experienced procurement professional on a contract basis. As a member of their contingency workforce you would be responsible for the following:

-Acquisitions--working with internal and external contacts to acquire needed goods and services.
-Asset management--receiving and tracking products.
-Reporting and analysis--reporting on hardware, software, telecomm and IT service costs.

The ideal person would have a BA or BS degree in accounting, finance or other related field. Our client is also looking for someone with computer expertise, particularly with Excel. You will need an in-depth understanding of purchasing practices and procedures coupled with some knowledge of relevant auditing. Exemplary interpersonal skills are also an integral part of the job requirements.
