Purchasing Support Specialist

Position Description: Prepares and administers purchase orders.

Contacts vendors to obtain price and delivery information.

Resolves procurement discrepancies with invoices, payments, schedules and other related issues with customers and suppliers.

Monitors supplier's performance by reviewing reports and schedules for contract compliance.

Enters information into spreadsheets or current system.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

A minimum of two years experience working with or for an aerospace manufacturer.

A working knowledge of fully integrated distribution software such as People soft.

Good organizational skills.

Good computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word a must.

Must speak, read, write and understand English.
