Purchasing and Planner

Position Summary: Inventory planning, master scheduling, capacity planning, new product & product modification, and cross-functional project coordination. Position Responsibilities: ? Monitor sales performance for responsible SKU?s; manage the imbalances between supply/demand. ? Manage Capacity Planning through the planning horizon ? Front load the production plan as needed for seasonal constraints ? Work closely with the plants and sub-contractor, serve as the liaison back to the Category Team to insure delivery of business requirements ? Interface with Development, Demand Planning, Marketing, Sales, Warehousing, Transportation, Purchasing, QA, Customer Service, Finance, and Product Development as required to support Supply Chain and Corporate objectives. ? Coordinate introduction/change/deletion of SKU?s for the entire supply chain. ? Manage numerous projects that support growth objectives, customer collaboration, innovation, cost reductions, operational efficiency improvements, and Strategic Sourcing initiatives. Requirements: ? College degree required, Industry Engineering or Operations Management preferred ? Minimum five years of related experience (consumer goods industry) ? Proficiency in PC based software tool: Oracle ? Strong analytical skills required ?
