Purpose of Function: To provide unparalleled service to Region branches and customers by assisting the?Regional Purchasing and Inventory Manager in maintaining a 95% fill rate and a 60-day supply of inventory.? Create purchasing techniques and plans to benefit WESCO Distribution Inc. both in price concessions and margin improvement.?

* Understand Document Control, Purchasing, Process Control, Corrective & Preventive Action and Control of Quality Records.
* Enter Purchase Orders
* Establish and Maintain Order Points and EOQs
* Maintain Branch costs, Supplier Quote files and Transfer prices
* Review and Expedite to ensure all orders have reached the?supplier
* Coordinate Inventory Management by product replacements and cost discrepancies
* Review shipping documents daily for errors, returns and excess materials
* Backup for the Region Purchasing and Inventory Manager to perform other purchasing responsibilities as requested and required
