SENIOR BUYER

In this role, you will plan, organize and control the procurement of materials, supplies and services to fulfill company requirements. Responsibilities will include processing purchase requisitions, obtaining bids, evaluating/selecting sources, negotiating, preparing and processing purchase orders, as well as tracking procurements from original requisition to receipt of procured items and ensuring they are in accordance with business unit procedures.

To qualify, you must have a BA/BS Degree in Business or related discipline, 2+ years of procurement experience, and excellent oral/written communication skills. Security clearance, strong organizational abilities, and PC proficiency with business software (Word Processing, spreadsheets and procurement (manufacturing) systems software. Familiarity with FAR/OFAR a plus.
