Senior Technical Buyer

We are looking for a Senior Technical Buyer to join our team.  Candidates should have:

 

At least five years experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment

- Exposure to ERP/ MRP system for setting up suppliers, issuing POs

- Experience with to Vendor selection and Vendor relationships

- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Negotiation skills

- RFQ

- Understanding of plastics, die casting, stamping, springs; electromechanical commodities

- Management of custom tooling

- Working knowledge of QS 9000/ TS 16949
