Sourcing Manager (2005659)

Serving as a Strategic Sourcing manager, this position will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and developing suppliers of raw material and excipients for PMI and PNY, covering OTC, Nutritional, personal care and Rx. They will also support the internal and external approvals. Will also be responsible for negotiations, contract management, material cost, material quality/compliance, and supplier service issues. Will act as a liaison between suppliers and our internal organization, facilitate the movement of innovative products and ideas to internal customers, and manage the overall strategic relationship with our supply base.

Required Skills:
A bachelors degree and a minimum of seven years experience in the pharmaceutical, fine chemical or food industry with the past five years in sourcing, purchasing, procurement, or supply chain. Experience in OTC pharmaceutical, generic drugs or API's preferred. A basic understanding of the fundamentals and concepts of finance required. Excellent project management and interpersonal skills also required. Travel up to 20%.

Experience Required:
Frequent travel required including domestic and international. Travel estimated up to 20%. Must be able to climb many flights of stairs when visiting chemical facilities.
