SOURCING MANAGER

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsible for managing the strategic sourcing of indirect materials and services for Ericsson North America. Will be required to use his/her best practices leadership abilities to implement broad change, as the purchasing operation increases their focus to strategic sourcing and support as a centrally led procurement operation. Duties will include new supplier development, contract creation, negotiation and review, as well as maintenance of the supplier relationships. Candidate will lead process improvement initiatives, support consolidation and implementation of centralized processes and tools. Will represent NA Sourcing team to Executive Management.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 6+ years of Procurement experience with a minimum of 4 years in Strategic Sourcing and a minimum of 2 years management experience. Bachelors of Business degree is required, CPM certification is preferred. A candidate with a proven track record of strategic sourcing for services is ideal Candidate should be comfortable with Supplier contract verbiage and have full contract management knowledge from creation and review through on-going administration. Previous negotiation experience is vital, as is excellent communication skills. Candidate should possess direct experience working with and presenting to Sr. Management Executives Ability to influence internal and external business associates Self-motivated, detail oriented, analytical, and strong organizational skills are required. In addition, candidate should have strong problem solving, project leadership skills and the ability to  function well in a team/matrix environment. Ability create and implement change will maintaining a strong leadership presence with the North American teams

 

Some domestic and international travel is required



Knowledge of MSWord, Powerpoint, Excel skills are critical. Knowledge of SAP preferred.
