Sourcing & Contracts Specialist

The Sourcing & Contracts Specialist opening is located in Granville, Ohio, in the Science and Technology/Application Development Center.

Responsibilities include:
Execute Agreements. Develop contractual instruments (Purchase Orders, Master Purchase Agreements, etc) reflecting the terms and conditions agreed to between OC and the suppliers. Prepare packages for approval; ensure that all of the proper review (Legal, Project Team, Affected Business Units, etc, as required) and approvals are obtained.
Prepares and negotiates appropriate terms & condition by establishing type of contract and contracting method.
Administrate Refractory (and others) agreements after execution. Monitor supplier performance, including overall quality of products and services, adherence to contract terms, invoicing accuracy, and delivery performance.
Assist in facilitating TSAC - Strategic Alliance Program membership (OC and alliance partners) satisfaction, advise and make recommendations to project teams.
Preparing RFP's, soliciting proposals; managing bidding process; examining contractor qualifications; ensuring contract compliance, reviewing, and evaluating and performing related administrative/coordinating tasks associated with the development of contracts.
Granville S&T Site SAP Champion ? lead site on SAP training and questions.
Reduces costs by minimizing duplications and excessive requirements; assist in discovery and managing risk mitigation plan.
Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

A successful candidate will have:
Bachelor?s degree and contract negotiation/administration experience. CPM certification beneficial.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, excellent negotiation and oral/written communication skills, and
SAP and PC proficiency with MS Word/Excel essential.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills providing the ability to be persuasive in dealing with the supplier and internal customer community.
5 to 10 years experience in a contracts/purchasing/project management environment. Refractory knowledge and experience beneficial.

Must be eligible to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis.
