Spares Production Planner

Great Contract Opportunity for Spares Production Planner to work for growing company in the medical device industry in the South Bay area.
DESCRIPTION
Plan and coordinate spares manufacturing schedules, performing assignments involving planning activities related to part changes, requirements changes, customer order schedules and variable material requirements. Major duties include: Maintain spares forecast Bill of Materials, monitor customer backorders, monitor and reconcile part requirements with company affiliates/plants, expedite hot customer shipments. Interface with customer support, purchasing, engineering and manufacturing to assure that materials planned, schedules and change implementations meet business needs.

Skills/Experience Requirements: 2-3 years using a computerized materials requirement planning system (MRP). Proficient in developing and maintaining Excel spreadsheets. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have good analytical and problems solving skills.
