Sr. Manager-Procurement/Operations

Job Description: BearingPoint, Inc. (NYSE-BE) is one of the world's largest Management and Technology Consulting companies dedicated to aligning business and systems to empower Global 2000 companies and government organizations.

The BearingPoint Procurement team is currently searching for Sr. Manager to lead the North American Procurement/Operations segment.

Location/s: Radnor, PA; Dallas, TX; McLean, VA

Relocation: Yes

This individual will be responsible for the overall leadership and development of the Procurement/Operations function for North America. This includes project and policy design and implementation at a global level in any or all of these areas: strategic sourcing, support of infrastructure and client-facing initiatives, workforce management, resource planning, global operations.

-Decide and drive strategy for the entire global team; delegate responsibility to meet organizational objectives
-Take responsibility for establishing purchasing systems and processes
-Locate, evaluate, and recommend high quality, low cost sources of supply on an international basis
-Implement business strategy, including performance management, staffing, operations, vendor management, and client support
-Overall performance management for team; hire, rain, and develop personnel
-Communicate corporate direction and management philosophy to Procurement employees
-Drive profitability using cost reduction purchases, cost avoidance, and timely receipt of goods and services
-Liaise with Industry and Infrastructure leadership to meet business goals

Basic Qualifications:
. 10 + years experience in related field
. Prior management experience required

Preferred Qualifications:
. Bachelors degree strongly preferred, advanced degree preferred
. Professional certification strongly preferred
. Strong analytical, communication, organizational and leadership skills
. Ability to establish influential partnerships at all levels
. Ability to translate business goals into functional strategies
. Ability to develop staff and build teams

Travel requirements: up to 30% national and international travel
