Strategic Sourcing Manager
FUNCTION: The Corporate Strategic Sourcing Group of a Fortune 500 Company seeks a Manager who will be part of an expanding department supporting Worldwide Businesses with the Strategic Sourcing of raw material for the manufacturing of Pharmaceutical / Biological products . Be responsible for developing and implementing global Strategic Sourcing, strategy formulations, development support, supplier relationship management, long-term procurement initiatives, and drive change on overall related sourcing activities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Individual desired must have a BS degree and minimum 5 years strategic sourcing exp., preferably with raw materials for Pharmaceuticals, Fine Chemicals or Biologicals manufacturing. Must be able to understand the impact that sourcing will have on global operations and the ultimate positive bottom line impact it will have on the respective businesses.Must have solid experience with Sourcing strategy development, strong contract negotiations expertise, good leadership / influencing skills and be able to see the business approach to the Strategic Sourcing process.
