Supplier Quality Engineering Technician
Description:
This position supports strategic Supplier Development and Supplier Quality Engineering related issues ? supporting, and representing in the interface between Purchasing and Quality Planning during projects, and the Plant Receiving Inspection teams when/where applicable.
Duties:
Work on the development and continuation of supplier agreements, Monitor supplier agreement and quality management systems during project phases. Performs supplier evaluations and informs suppliers of their results; Maintains, monitors, and updates the SIP system and IMDS system for new suppliers; Assures SEP guidelines are followed and maintained. Requesting initial sampling documentation, Assisting in performing initial sampling of components, Assuring timely completion, Assisting and participating in SQE-functions, Performing part maturity analyses, and supply capability analyses where applicable.
Education:
Candidate must have a 2 year degree in business or related area, Bachelor?s preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
Experience:
Must have automotive experience and background, as well as quality management systems background.
Skills and Knowledge:
Must have strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPointMust speak fluent German.Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as project management skills.
