Delaware Valley College, a private, 4 year college in beautiful Bucks County, PA, is in need of a Textbook Buyer to coordinate the ordering process for textbooks and related academic materials requested by faculty for use in college courses. Responsibilities include requesting, revising, & compiling textbook requisition forms; inventory control through reviews of course history and course enrollment information; maintaining textbook management system of related information; coordinating and supervising purchase of used textbooks through the use of wholesale purchases and in-store buyback of used textbooks.
The ideal candidate will possess retail experience with an emphasis on textbooks, ordering, purchasing, and inventory control. A high school diploma is required, Associate's degree preferred. Candidates must have the ability to lift 50 lbs. and be computer literate. Must be available to work occasional weekends and evenings.
