ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

Lillibridge Healthcare Services, the nation?s leader in medical building property management, is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager for a 136,000 square foot medical office building in Laguna Hills, California. Reporting to the General Manager, this position will oversee day-to-day operations of the building.



 

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

?Coordinates with General Manager to direct and supervise activities of building staff and vendors in accordance with policies & procedures.

?Performs and supervises accounting operations: prepares journal entries, maintains general ledger, records & monitors cash-related transactions, reconciles bank statements, prepares financial and management reports, monitors collections & coordinates default proceedings, prepares & monitors operating expense and capital budgets, prepares & administers operating expense recoveries and adjustments to actuals, due diligence, etc.

?Conducts facility operations, including preventative & corrective maintenance program, vendor contract procurement & administration, environmental services, building inspections, construction/TI administration, emergency response & preparedness program, and regulatory compliance.

? Coordinates with General Manager to administer leasing activity, lease administration, tenant relations.

? Supervises security officers and janitorial personnel.

? Prepares reports, proposals, and presentations as required.

? Performs all administrative & operational duties and special projects as required.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

 

? High School Graduate, B.A. or B.S. in related field preferred.

?3 to 5 years of hands-on management experience with real estate, experience with medical office buildings preferred. California real estate license a plus.

?  Proficient knowledge of and experience with accounting principles & practices, preferably in real estate.

?Computer literate:  proficient knowledge of MS Office applications (Word & Excel a must).

?  Proficient 10-key usage.

? Strong communication and customer service skills (oral & written) to ensure teamwork and positive client/tenant relations.

?  Ability to exercise prudent judgment in the absence of supervisory personnel.

? Attention to detail and strong aptitude for mathematics.

?  Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to ensure accuracy and timely completion.

?  Ability to lift twenty-five (25) pounds by applying proper body mechanics.
