Countrywide Financial Corporation is a highly diversified, leading global financial services provider. Countrywide's core mortgage banking subsidiary, Countrywide Home Loans, currently has openings for Sales Associates (herein referred to as "Account Executives") in its Full Spectrum Lending Division (FSL).

Account Executive, Associate
This is an entry-level sales position and does not require a background in mortgage banking.
Countrywide?s Full Spectrum Lending Division is committed to building the business acumen skills, compliance knowledge, and sales techniques during a comprehensive initial and ongoing training program.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Working with more senior staff and management to develops the knowledge and skills needed to solicit and originate loan requests. May work on less complex mortgage applications while developing knowledge base.
- Under direct supervision and ongoing coaching, advises potential borrowers regarding appropriate loan programs that may best suit their needs.
- Engages in follow-up activities with prospective borrowers.
- Files renegotiations and underwriting program changes.
- Assists Loan Specialist on gathering file documentation.
A successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience in sales-oriented positions.
- An entrepreneurial approach.
- Negotiation/creative problem solving skills.
- Goal oriented, and self-motivated.
- Effective and flexible communicator.
