Account Manager

We are looking for qualified Account Managers to join Fieldstone Mortgage Company, a dynamic and growing corporation based in Columbia, Maryland. The job description for this position is as follows.

Performs and oversees processing of mortgage loans in compliance with company policies and procedures as well as agency and investor guidelines with little or no supervision.

Major Activity

Order credit reports, appraisals, employment, credit and other personal data as may be required

Accept and review completed loan application packages and incoming mail for completeness and acceptability

Correspond with clients, customers, Realtors, builders, and others to receive and relay information pertaining to pending loan applications, loan terms and other details

Promptly responds to request from divisional staff for additional information/documentation as needed for loan sale or insurability

Complete and disseminate miscellaneous documentation relating to processing of the loan

Prepare and submit reports relating to status of loan processing activities

Assemble loan packages as needed

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Familiar with loan processing guidelines for mortgage lending
Ability to perform work requiring an attention to detail and perform simple mathematical calculations
Type 45 words per minute with minimal error
Knowledgeable and comfortable in the use of computers
