Acquisitions Specialist

Acquisitions Specialist Responsibilities Coordinate the transfer process with client, other servicers, other service bureaus, and internal servicing departments

Transfer process to include data conversion, data load, balancing, and documentation follow-up

Ensure that all data is evaluated to transfer form the transferor

Work closely with IT and/or service bureau to ensure the data conversion and/or transfer time tables

Open and distribute mail as part of the transfer and deliver to appropriate departments

Notify clients of missing documentation, via both written and verbal communication

Keep accurate record of direct transfer cost for client billing of applicable

Coordinate the order of welcome packages/goodbye letter either in house or through third-party vendors




Minimum Qualifications


Understanding of the loan set up process with respect to different loan types

Good writing, communication skills, analytical thining, and organizational skills

Must be detail oriented

Ability to problem solve, work independently, and to successfully prioritize multi-functions

Data entry skills required

Familiarity with personal computer, 10 key calculator, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel software

Three to four years experience in mortgage loan servicing

Specialized training and/or college equivalent, experience equivalent




Preferred Qualifications


Experience with set up of new loans is preferred
