TITLE: Assistant Project Manager

I. POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for assisting with project implementation efforts for new construction, renovation and repair projects and relocation from inception through completion

II. ACCOUNTABILITIES

May be responsible for one or more of the following:

? Assist project team with project management responsibilities



? Prepare and/or review project contracts



? Enforce contractual requirements



? Coordinate FF&E as appropriate, including box moves, partition furniture reconfigurations, and voice/data infrastructure



? Ability to maintain, interpret and develop accurate building plans



? Conduct and maintain current and project space inventory reports



? Prepare project budgets and schedules



? Assist Project Manager and oversee smaller renovation/capital repair projects on an as-needed basis



? Ensure vendors provide project documentation on time



? Oversee customer moves



? Perform periodic job inspections



 

III. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS



? Bachelor?s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, business or equivalent



? 3+ years? experience in construction/project management



? 4+ years? design experience with computer aided design/drafting utility AutoCADD or similar software if specific position requires this accountability



Or

? Any similar combination of education and experience

? Working knowledge of AIA documents

? Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

? Knowledge of construction accounting procedures

? Strong computer software application skills (Excel, Word, MS Project, etc.)

? Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service

? Strong verbal/written communication skills
