Assistant Property Manager/Property Manager - Commercial

Investment Properties, Inc., an established Development/Commercial Property Management firm is currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager with strong bookkeeping skills for our Rockville office.

 

In general, the candidate will assist the Property Manager in overall management of the properties and administration of the leases and assist the Controller with various property management bookkeeping duties. The ideal candidate will be one looking to manage their own portfolio.

 

Some responsibilities may include:

Work with tenant coordinator and assist with tenant calls; work with building engineers and contractors; perform periodic building inspections; assist Property Manager with annual budgets; Assist Controller with preparation of monthly financial statements; tenant billings; handle tenant A/R, annual CAM reconciliations; other data entry and bookkeeping as needed.

 

The ideal candidate should be detail oriented, motivated and a self starter.  Multi-tasking capability is a must; we believe depth within the company is very important for the overall success of the company and provides the best chance for advancement for each individual employee.

 

Job requirements: Experience in Property Management or Development is preferred; Computer and strong numbers skills are a must; Word processing and spreadsheet knowledge are required.
