A private real estate investment banking firm based in New York City. The firm assists its clients in evaluating investment opportunities, identifying sources of equity and debt capital, and favorably structuring the capitalization of real estate transactions in the range of $25-500 million. Over the last 20 years the firm has completed over 300 institutional real estate transactions on behalf of private owners and developers including joint-venture equity, mezzanine financing, partnership loans, interim debt, acquisition and development equity, construction financing, partnership loans, work-outs and entity-level investments.
Job Description:
The firm is seeking a real estate professional to work in New York on the underwriting and analysis of transactions, and the placement of those investments with the firm's capital sources. The position would primarily involve work with real estate developers and investors, as well as institutional investors and lenders. Strong financial analysis, computer,and sales skills are required. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of real estate investment, and capital markets experience, as a principal or intermediary.
Compensation:
The firm will structure a highly competitive base and bonus program to match the background and expertise of the candidate.
