Helps manage the overall efficiency, quality, and customer service aspects of processing, underwriting, and closing within the team.

1. Approves Loans to assigned limits.

2. Assists the Operations Manager in developing all direct reports to ensure maximum quality, efficiency, and customer services levels are met.

3. Communicates with various departments in corporate, brokers, BDM's, and RSD's to end-line issues in the region.

4. Manages the entire workflow from submission to closing to maintain service and loan quality levels.

5. Responsible for the completeness, accuracy, salability and performance of the funded loan package.

6. Maintains current knowledge of Company Underwriting, Processing, and Closing policies and procedures.

7. Responsible for the management of the broker, closing agent, and appraiser networks. Takes appropriate action to maintain an effective and reliable network.

8. Hires, trains and conducts performance reviews on direct reports in accordance with Company policy.

Education:
4 year college degree or equivalent experience in a financial business environment.

Experience/Training:
5+years experience in comparable environment, 2 years management experience in comparable environment.

Skills:
Demonstrated ability in sales, operations or underwriting management; strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills.
