Senior Bond Servicing Administrator

Responsibilities:
- Performs the servicing functions of the Alaskan bond loan portfolio, including working with borrowers, department management, and other departments as necessary.
- Responds to mortgagor/third-party telephone inquiries or face-to-face meetings.
- Applies loan administration knowledge (taxes, collections, foreclosures, insurance, assumptions, special loans, payoffs, payment processing, etc.) and investor guidelines to internal/external customers.
- Works closely with other areas, such as Production, Cashiering, Default, Property Claims, Assumptions and Reconveyance.
- Sets follow-ups as needed to resolve the customer requests.
- Escalates ongoing issues to supervisors.
- Completes research and follow-up on critical issues.
- Assists the Bond Servicing Administrator with problem accounts, complaint calls and correspondence.
- Assists team leaders with daily statistics and their analysis.

Requirements:
- A high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a mortgage banking environment (or another related field).
- Knowledge of loan servicing, including customer service or collections.
- Knowledge of mortgage banking or a related industry, including familiarity with TILA, RESPA, FSRA, FDCA, TICPA, SSCRA, etc.
- Familiarity with state and federal laws relating to financial privacy, fair lending, bankruptcy, workout, foreclosure, payoffs, escrow and assumptions.
- Strong typing (30wpm) and 10-key by sight skills.
- Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and AS/400.
