Broker Trainee (JET)

Cushman & Wakefield, an international commercial real estate services firm has two openings for the JET (Junior Executive Trainee) Broker Program in our Orlando branch.

 

Individuals will have the opportunity to learn the commercial real estate industry while at the same time developing a career as a Commercial Real Estate Broker in a highly entrepreneurial environment.  Principal responsibilities will include cold calling and canvassing prospective clients, developing leads through a variety of approaches primarily including telephone calls, arranging meetings with prospective clients for senior brokers, attending networking events, and developing a complete understanding of the local real estate market.  In addition, the individual will prepare requests for proposals (RFP?s) of Cushman & Wakefield capabilities, and accompany and assist brokers at client meetings.

 

Qualified candidates must have a 4-year college degree with a minimum of two years of sales experience and a Florida real estate license.  (If candidate does not have real estate license, it must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.).  Intern experience, currently working in the commercial real estate industry and/or financial service business to business sale is a plus.   Candidate must possess a strong work ethic, be team oriented, focused on building relationships, and conduct business ethically and creatively.  Candidates must also have a highly professional presence and possess strong written & verbal communication skills and have strong PC skills.
