Business Development Officer (Ministry Lending Sales)

is the largest financial institution nationwide exclusively serving the commercial banking needs of evangelical Christian churches and ministries throughout the country.  We are experiencing explosive growth, and in order to serve our increasing membership with excellence, an exciting career opportunity in the role of Business Development Officer on our Church and Ministry Lending team is currently available at our Brea, CA headquarters.


The Business Development Officer is the first point of contact for establishing and cultivating long-term business relationships with the senior pastor, administrator, CEO, CFO, and/or governing board at evangelical Christian churches and ministries.  This person is responsible for development on a nationwide scale, which involves travel opportunities (up to 25%). 

Qualifications for this challenging opportunity include:
Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience required
Previous experience with commercial real estate loans in a banking-lending environment is required
An understanding of the business practices unique to churches and ministries
Strong knowledge of needs-based consultative sales techniques
Proficient with software applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with customer relationship management software highly desired
