Clerk Specialist Position- Quality Control

JOB DUTIES:   Working as part of the team in the Quality Control/Credit Policy Department, responsibilities will include monitoring the department file review progress, updating and maintaining databases, running reports, generating spreadsheets, and ordering/monitoring receipt of loan files and Broker Opinions (BPO's).  Responsibilities also include generating audit file request correspondence, follow up with customers (via phone and e-mail), coordinating support functions for lender audits (e.g. arranging for temps, laptop prep, hardware shipment), and serving as telephone back-up in the department.  Additional responsibilities may include data entry audits of ATLAS, MGICTracs, FNMA Desktop Underwriter and FHLMC Loan Prospector files and conducting file research using QC datbases and on-line resources.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

Requirements include a minimum of 3-4 years of related and progressively more responsible work experience.  A solid knowledge of mortgage loan documentation and accurate data entry skills required.  Must possess good telephone and organizational skills and the ability to handle mulitiple tasks.  Experience with ACCESS, EXCEL, ATLAS, FOCUS, and FNMA/FHLMC automated underwriting systems desirable.
