Description:
Wholesale Lending is the channel through which the ING Bank originates loans from Loan Brokers. This function includes origination, underwriting, processing, closing and booking to the Bank's loan servicing system. Wholesale Loan Operations is the department within Wholesale Lending that comprises processing, closing and booking

The Wire Transfer/Post Closing Associate is responsible for initiating and maintaining the wire transfer process in an efficient, timely and accurate manner. The Associate will also be responsible for all aspects of loan post closing processing which includes reviewing, processing, and follow up miscellaneous internal and external customer loan correspondence through AWD and Response Manager.

Essential Functions:
* Complete all daily wire transaction activity, including updating account information or status to meet same day processing standards.
* Be able to initiate wire transfers within department guidelines/standards and obtain proper approval for each wire transfer.
* Various General Ledger research.
* Competency / familiarity of Secured Lending Policy and its application.
* Provides internal and external customer service by phone, mail, fax or email.
* Receives and researches information and reports delivered by internal and external sources.
* Initiates the client accounts onto the loan servicing system once closing documents have been received
* Follow up missing signed documents and Final HUDs
* Establish and ensure compliance with departmental standards and processes to increase production and accommodate work volumes.
* Maintain accurate data in the databases (Calyx, Access, AWD and OrangeWARE)
* Contribute in the ongoing development of the Wholesale Loan Operations Department to maintain and improve the quality level.
* Work on various projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
* 2 to 5 years of related work experience preferably in a banking industry
* Mortgage and Home Equity product knowledge is a plus

Education and/or Certifications:
* A post-secondary education in related field is a plus.
* Trust or banking Institute courses an asset

Technical skills and abilities:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Computer literate in a network environment.
* Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
* Flexibility and adaptability to change

Working Conditions:
* Fast-paced, dynamic environment
* May be required to work more than 40 hours, as the job requires
* Work hour flexibility, shift work may apply
* Extensive computer usage
