Community Director

Responsibilities of the Community Director

Supervise leasing and maintenance staff for a luxury apartment community in the Mesquite area.

Create innovative leasing strategies, including outside marketing.

Coordinate all resident move-ins and move-outs.

Bid, negotiate and manage all operational and maintenance contracts.

Timely collection of rent.

Work with Senior Management to develop annual operating expense budget.

Prepare monthly management and variance reports.

Create excellent resident rapport through community events.

 

Candidate Requirements:

5+ years in residential property management.

Successful track record in marketing and leasing apartments on lease-up property.

Experience in budgeting and monthly financial reporting.

Lease negotiation, documentation and administration.

Ability to train, motivate and retrain professional staff.

Yardi experience.

Personal integrity and demonstrated communication, professional appearance, demeanor and positive attitude.
