Consulting Associate

Reporting to and working closely with the head of strategy for Global Corporate Services, the Associate plays an important role in conducting strategic planning, supporting internal strategic consulting engagements, developing/managing numerous critical business systems/processes as well as assisting with or leading a variety of special initiatives for Global Corporate Services.

 

This is an ideal role for someone who wishes to enhance, develop and refine their core business/consulting skill-set while gaining exposure to all aspects of GCS? business. Through a wide variety of duties and projects, the Associate will deepen skills and gain valuable experience in management consulting (identifying issues, research, problem structuring/disaggregation, synthesizing information, designing and conducting analysis etc.), project management, organizational design, creating high-impact deliverables for executive audiences and working on a wide variety of projects in the midst of a growing and innovative CBRE business line.

 Responsibilities include:

? Assist with creation of analyses, presentations and other materials for various GCS constituencies including GCS senior management, CBRE senior management, CBRE Board of Directors, investor community

? Assist with GCS strategic planning including organizational design, budgeting, management reporting

? Perform due diligence and research and on new business development opportunities/pursuits

? Develop communications from GCS senior management to the wider organization

? Develop, maintain and improve strategic knowledge base concerning GCS? market, client trends and related business drivers. Regularly evaluate competitive service offerings

? Collaborate with (and increasingly manage) a small India-based technical team to  manage the development, training program and weekly processes supporting several key GCS business intelligence systems including a Salesforce.com-based CRM tracking system, an OpenAir-based resource tracking system and an internal web portal for all GCS employees

? Serve as project manager and administrator for select cross-functional initiatives



 Requirements:



? BA/BS from a premier college or university ? top academic performer

? 2+ years of management consulting or related business experience - with distinction

? Proven track record of leadership, creativity and initiative in past endeavors

? With training, clear ability to create compelling written, analytical, and consultative deliverables at a high level of sophistication with increasingly little supervision

? Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills

? Resourceful research capabilities; strong analytical and quantitative skills



? Ability to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.  Highly organized with attention to detail

? Team player with a positive attitude

? Strong proficiency with quantitative analysis using Microsoft Excel, presentation development using PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.  Experience and comfort with learning and using new software systems and tools

? Knowledge of or experience within corporate real estate preferred but not required
