Controller - Real Estate

POSITION OVERVIEW The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and in a ?hands-on? capacity, will handle, oversee, and/or manage all aspects of the accounting and financial operations. As a growing company, New Pacific Realty has numerous and varied issues under the Controller?s purview. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing all general accounting functions.
Managing financial reporting and year-end accounting.
Managing the accounting functions related to property acquisitions and dispositions
Overseeing cash management and risk management.
Overseeing the information technology systems and programs and handling all accounting and software issues.
Coordinating tax filings with accountants
Coordinating Draw Requests
Reconciling Bank Accounts

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
CPA certification
A minimum of 5 years diverse experience as a Controller in the real estate industry (operations, acquisitions, dispositions and property management).
Experience in partnership accounting and taxation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Proficiency with Argus, MS Office, Quick books and accounting software.
