Controller for Wholesale Mortgage Lender in Miami

 

A rapidly growing wholesale mortgage lender headquartered in Miami is looking to add a Controller to their management team.  They are looking for an organized, hands-on leader, someone who's a self-starter and very computer savvy.  Also need to be able to work in a fast paced environment.

 

Some of the key duties they will be handling:

 

Develop procedures for the accounting dept

Supervise staff of 6-7

Audit allocations and accruals

  Test branch financials for reasonableness

  Reconcile operating accounts (2 banks - 6 accounts)

  Reconcile two warehouse accounts

  Review/audit loan level fundings

  Supervise interim servicing and reconcile "due investor" accounts

Prepare month-end financial package 

  Produce daily cash position reports and manage cash flows

  Reconcile cash activity with hedge reports
