POSITION OVERVIEW

 

The Director, Sales is responsible for leading the sales team in achieving their business plan targets in the launch of new projects and tempo sales of residual inventory in-resort.

 

Over 75% of the Director?s time and energy will be devoted to sales related activities with the goal of achieving the maximum number of sales in the shortest period of time. To achieve this goal the Director is responsible for co-coordinating the in-resort marketing efforts and support teams to create and implement the tools necessary to assist the sales team in their launch and /or tempo sales program.

 

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

 

? Leading the project sales team to meet or beat the business plan targets and sales goal for the project and/or resort

? Hiring, managing and motivating an effective sales team

? Providing daily/weekly sales management through effective sales meetings, one-on-one coaching sessions, training, team building exercises etc.

? Assisting in the development of the sales and marketing strategy and ensuring the sales message and theme of the project are properly represented

? Promoting Playground?s Branded Way of Selling and encouraging the daily use of the code of conduct

? Monitoring and managing the sales budgets

? Actively participating in all relevant design and marketing charettes and driving innovative and new product and marketing methods to ensure the customer is always represented

? Monitoring and assessing local competition and their sales program

? Building and maintaining authentic, functioning relationships with the partner/client, customer and co-op real estate community

? Participating in problem solving as it relates to daily challenges for the respective team members

? Seeking additional growth opportunities

 

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

 

Qualifications and Experience:

? Continuing education diploma/degree in business preferred

? 5 years experience within the real estate industry, resort or luxury/amenity preferred 

? 1-3 years experience in a Sales Management/Director leadership role

? General business experience including bottom line responsibilities

? Real estate and/or Broker?s license in State of Florida (current)
