SUMMARY:
This new position is responsible for management of our new database software. The Database Administrator imports information from current databases to the new database; maintains the database and assists users. Once the database is up and running, the Database Administrator will provide research data and assistance to the Research Analyst, thereby gaining a thorough understanding of the multi-family industry. This position could lead to a career as a commissioned broker in the company.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Manages and maintains property/investor databaseImports information from current databases to new databaseResolves problems with database and its performanceDevelops guidelines for use of database by coordinating requirements from usersDevelops methods for tagging and sorting clientsVerifies and updates information in database by calling propertiesPhotographs properties, adds photos to databaseAssists Research Analyst by completing rent surveys and maintaining research libraryPerforms miscellaneous administrative duties and other tasks as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Two years experience with Customer Records ManagementUnderstanding of data normalization processExperience with shared databasesStrong computer skills including MS Office Suite; Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint; REA 9 experience a plusExcellent customer service skillsBachelor?s degree; real estate experience preferredDesire to work in fast-paced commercial real estate/brokerage environmentStrong work ethicSelf-starter, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and follow upHighly detail orientedAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work well within a teamwork environmentProfessional appearance and attitude; positive, friendly personalityAbility and willingness to work overtimeReal estate license a plusKnowledge of multi-family real estate a plus
