Default Administration Operations Manager

This position will manage the day-to-day operations of a department in compliance with established policies and procedures; develop, interpret and implement policies and procedures and ensure employee conformance to established practices. Additional responsibilities include: provide support and guidance to staff through coaching and mentoring and work with each employee to help achieve departmental level service goals; maintain and revise department policies and procedures in accordance with changes to workflow and goals. Incumbents are also responsible for preparing monthly reports, auditing procedures to monitor efficiency of the production department; and ensures employee conformance to established practices and assures all employees are working towards department goals and standards and other duties as assigned. **Special note: this position will be moving to the First American campus in Westlake, TX June 2006**

Qualifications
Successful candidate MUST have a BS/BA or equivalent relevant work experience; 5+ years management experience; mortgage & default servicing experience (bankruptcy and foreclosure); strong administrative/management skills; excellent interpersonal skills; strong planning, analysis & negotiation skills; excellent communication skills, both oral and written; participative management style; and advocate of team concepts.
