recruitingmanager.com, Inc. is currently conducting a search for a Default / REO Property Valuation Consultant (Director of Sales) for a leading property valuation services company servicing national lenders & brokers. This 300+ person, $70M CA-based company belongs to a family of business information companies comprising a high visibility 36,000 employee, $8B Fortune 300 corporation.
Overview:
As REO Property Valuation Consultant (?VC?), you?ll work closely with multiple corporate sales resources to target top 100 mortgage lenders and servicers with the company?s property valuation products & services. This high visibility consultative sales role is a combination of technical product specialist (subject matter expert), deal ?closer?, marketer, and account manager with responsibilities that extend throughout the sales cycle and customer life cycle.
The Valuation Consultant will leverage a wide range of foreclosure & REO expertise and property appraisal experience to generate company visibility, product interest and sales revenue. Primary responsibilities include:
- New Business Development ? accompany sales force and present products, services, and operations to prospective clients.
- Account Management ? maintain relationships with top accounts, including necessary face-time and quarterly visits.
- Presentation ? speak at tradeshows & conferences. Generate visibility with industry contacts along with potential lenders and servicers.
- Channel Management ? work closely with existing corporate sales channels, including company?s parent and sister companies. Learn sister company products and maintain effective relationships with representatives.
- Mentoring & Collaboration ? work effectively with in-house Client Relationship Managers (CRM?s) that share goals, accounts, and territory.
- Product Development ? participate in new product and/or process development.
- Planning & Strategy ? effectively manage time, goals, accountability, planning, and execution.
Activities & Responsibilities:
Core activities and responsibilities include:
- Present product & service offerings to clients and prospects generated through existing corporate sales support, sister companies, and own efforts.
- Provide full client support throughout sales cycle.
- Effectively work with Client Relationship Managers (CRM?s). Attend meetings, provide support, lead weekly calls, create performance reports, etc. Report to off-site supervisor.
- Spearhead new client on-boarding & implementation efforts.
- Visit clients as required. Overnight travel is approximately 30%.
- Attend approximately 3-6 regional/national conferences and conventions throughout year.
- Schedule and participate in conference calls and sales meetings with other corporate sales support staff.
- Regularly interact with multiple operations departments to provide account summaries, customer feedback, and recommendations for process enhancements to improve customer experience.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of mortgage lending and/or servicing and residential real estate appraising.
- Expertise in mortgage default management & REO.
- 10+ years experience in mortgage and/or residential appraising at either a large lender, servicer, or a vendor management company.
- Extensive industry contacts with top lenders & servicers.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively motivate & communicate with different personalities, work methods, and communication styles.
- Self motivation, discipline, and a professional appearance.
- Excellent organization with ability to simultaneously work on and track multiple accounts throughout all stages of the sales life cycle.
- Current (or recently expired) residential appraisal license highly preferred.
- A degree in business or a related field preferred.
- Competency in MS Windows and MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Team player with an ability to accept, assimilate, and manage change.
- Top-notch communicator, facilitator and presenter.
- Ability to travel as needed.
