Director of Real Estate
Location: Mid West


Position Statement:
Direct regional real estate acquisitions and associated activity within the U.S. relating to the growth and modernization of all Coldwater Creek Inc. retail concepts.



Job Responsibilities:


Primary responsibilities include oversight of all regional activity relating to the acquisition and management of real estate relating to all retail concepts including the following duties:

Co-develop detailed market plans and analysis in support of real estate strategies.
Initiate site selection and deal-making activity in accordance with approved market plans.
Develop and execute Landlord negotiation strategies, tactics and action plans.
Prepare and present site proposals for senior management review and approval.
Prepare and evaluate pro forma P&L statements and respective investment analyses for prospective sites.
Assist in the negotiation and administration of new and existing store lease agreements and related activities.
Support a broad range of strategic and tactical initiatives affecting the Companys real estate portfolio through special project assignments (i.e. landlord portfolio reviews and deal-making, geographic information systems development, information technology integration, etc.).



Job Requirements:
Minimum 5-7 years real estate experience, preferably at a Director/Senior Director level for a specialty retailer.
College degree in related field preferred.
Strong organizational, visual, creative and leadership skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Computer skills in MS-Windows environment and all desktop applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
Extensive travel required.
