Director of Business Development

As the Director of Business Development, this individual will be responsible for:

? Leadership role in the identification, sourcing, and closing of Exclusive and Marketing Agreements and/or JV opportunities
? Develop and maintain relationships with developers and brokers to originate new business
? Lead teams of professionals to analyze and qualify targeted developments, due diligence, and close deals
? Lead negotiation of transaction agreements
? Other tasks and responsibilities as needed


Qualifications
? Bachelor Degree is required. JD a plus.
? 7+ years real estate experience with strong knowledge of fundamentals and valuation methodologies
? Proven contacts and relationships in the real estate development industry
? Proven track record of prospecting new business and exceptional sales skills a must
? Possesses significant presentation and relationship building skills
? Must be able to assess and analyze financial conditions of clients and the industry trends
? Outstanding communication skills - both written and verbal; Excellent interpersonal skills
? Experienced in preparing and delivering presentations to senior management
? Ability to work under pressure; tight deadline environment
? Team player, enthusiastic, hardworking, strong process management skills, and a quick learner
? Ability to travel, as needed
