Disbursements Coordinator

Essential Job Function:
Serves a liaison with Wholesale branches in all aspects of the wire transfer process, including closing agent approval and disbursement reconciliation.

Responsibilities:
*Safeguards the company against disbursements to closing agents who would perpetrate fraud.
*Verifies and processes wire transfer requests.
*Approves/manages the branch and corporate closing agent database.
*Assists branches with funding/disbursement issues.
*Researches and resolves outstanding disbursement-related payment problems.
*Monitors outstanding funds and phase codes.
*Processes unfunding requests.
*Processes stop payment requests.
*Researches check exceptions for approval.

Requirements:
*A high school diploma or equivalent.
*1+ years of experience.
*General office experience.
*Good communications, organizational, typing, multi-tasking and PC skills.
*Detail orientation.
*A strong customer service focus.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
*Some college education.
*Wire transfer and accounting experience.
*Word processing and AS400 expertise.
